We are a social enterprise managed by Liffey Partnership that provides people and organisations with affordable and community-based solutions to climate change. We do this through agricultural education, access to a nature space, sales of organic produce and gainful employment.

The Garden is an oasis of calm and beauty near our office in Parkwest. Our volunteers had a wonderful day preserving and staining outdoor furniture and wheelchair accessible raised beds… Everyone really enjoyed the day and are looking forward to volunteering again with this wonderful social enterprise and hoping for a few more delicious tomatoes, lettuce, spinach and potatoes!

A super resource for Cherry Orchard. They are great for working with St Ultans primary school children. Every year they bring different classes to the community centre and teach the children about planting and allow the children to plant and watch their plants grow. Peader is super helpful when worked with the children and it’s always so enjoying to visit the centre.

Cherry Orchard Community Garden is a vibrant and engaged charity based in Dublin, committed to enhancing the lives of its local community. Our collaboration with Peadar and his amazing team has spanned over 5 years, bringing corporate volunteers to provide practical and strategic support. And we love working with you! The garden is a lively green sanctuary that is more than a place for cultivating plants; it serves as a haven for community spirit and personal growth.

What stands out most is the dedication to inclusivity, family support, and a steadfast belief in the power of education to empower individuals to make more environmentally conscious choices. After working with Cherry Orchard, volunteers carry with them a sense of purpose, a heightened understanding of the issues and challenges confronting their local community, and an appreciation for how the charity effectively addresses and surmounts them. The Cherry Orchard Community Garden is owned and managed by the Liffey Partnership. Opened in 2010, it is proudly supported by Dublin City Council and Department of Rural and Community Development with the aim of making climate action and horticulture affordable and accessible to the people of Cherry Orchard.
